    While water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

    The barriers in making the use of a reusable water bottle is convenience. Sometimes I forget my reusable water bottle when I am out and about and buy a plastic one from the gas station or grocery store. I can set myself reminders to remember to bring my reusable water bottle so I never forget it.

    I could use the sun (not currently since I am living In a dorm) to heat my house, provide lighting energy and to make my electronics work

    I drink a lot of iced coffee. These always come with straws. So I could instead ask for no straw and bring the metal straw that I brought from home instead. Instead of using plastic coffee cups, I could use my metal thermostat to drink coffee out of
