REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?
Suresh Natarajan 4/08/2019 9:29 PMI carry the things in a Cart. Most of the times I carry two reusable bags in my car and one small bag if I go alone for a purchase. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Use Public TransitThe US spends roughly 20% of its federal budget on defense. In contrast, 2% goes to education, 20% goes to social security and 3% goes to transportation infrastructure. Do these numbers surprise you at all? Why or why not?
Suresh Natarajan 4/08/2019 9:27 PMYes. It's an surprise and most of the countries follow higher for defense and less goes in education. Safety is a concern in this modern world. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Locally-Sourced MealsIf you were to only eat what is in season locally, what would be the hardest for you to give up?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Do you feel that this fact applies to you? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Suresh Natarajan 4/08/2019 9:21 PMI use my office cab transport in all 5 working days from Monday to Friday. The pick up place is located 1 Mile away from my home. I walk this distance daily to and fro which is kind of exercise for me. -
