I have always been a multi model transportation person, in Portland I have used bus, light rail, a bicycle, a motorcycle and my car. Not planning to change that.

Juergen Schuetze 4/30/2019 2:49 PMWhat is odd, motorized two wheeled travel is not entering the equation when it comes to sustainability/low carbon foot print. Nobody is talking about scooters & motor bikes, we are talking 50 to 100mpg here. Interestingly, in the area of electric propulsion, the bicycle and motorbike-scooter begin to overlap ! -

Juergen Schuetze 4/15/2019 4:06 PMTo reduce trips by car, commuting or others, I use a mode which gets never mentioned, a MOTORCYCLE ! BTW, I have commuted by bicycle in the past as well. I have been commuting at least 100 days per year since 1991 in Portland using my motorbike, that is for me, 2000 miles per year.
