    Food Smart Seafood Choices
Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

When I looked at the advisories for Oregon, it was interesting it gave examples of where can eat fish from meaning certain bodies of water it is not recommended to eat fish from there. This was extremely helpful because when I make my fish choice I can ask where the fish origins were, and if they are unable to tell me I would be safer to not consume fish, just in case it comes from body of water that have contaminants or high mercury levels, I love this website very informational, I actually saved website to my favorites, so I can reference it when I have questions about certain types of seafood.
