I'm glad we did this challenge. It helped me think about all the things I can do on a daily basis to help reduce the resources I use. 

I'm pretty obsessive about turning all the lights out when I leave a room. It's just a little thing but adds up over time. 

Other than housing, groceries are probably my biggest expense every month. Food is also one thing I am happy to pay more for. I'd rather spend a little more and eat better food than save money on empty calories. 

I drive a lot less and enjoy taking public transit now that I'm in a place where it is more reliable and runs more frequently. 

Small garden beds, hanging baskets and a few fruiting trees.

We have already installed rain barrels in our yard but we are looking to install a larger water containment system and disconnecting our last downspout to reduce our stormwater footprint
