    The use of ride share programs while traveling makes navigation of unfamiliar areas stress free. This also has allowed me to be more willing to explore more of the cities visited.

    In our new home we installed NEST thermostats and LED lighting. Our windows are covered with energy saving shades that help insulate and limit cooling loss.

    Electricity is either produced using hydro, nuclear, or NG steam combustion. The hydro power plant and nuclear facility uses the construction of one of the largest man made lakes in the US. This provides habitat for many plant and wildlife species.

    I could donate the items that I don't plan to use/wear again to charity organizations instead of leaving them in the closet to take up space.

    I could also repair a couple of items that could be used if they worked correctly.

    I could set up a better recycling system in my garage to sort items that go to the trash collector so they can recycle cardboard, glass, etc.
